Pianist by Tomoko Mukaiyama

This exhibition, Pianist , centers on a series of piano performances that will be held from February 5 to 28, 2019, coincides with the first day of spring, which functions as a means of regulating nature and human life. The gallery will only be open for a few hours every day. It will contain an installation made up of a forest of pianos, where Mukaiyama will stage a daily concert. In this environment (with a time difference that increases one hour a day), time will always be different and pass slowly. Neither a concert hall, a theater nor a music studio, the art gallery will serve as the stage where the pianist intersects with the audience. Visitors will become part of the installation on a deliberately staggered, extraordinary turntable. Mukaiyama invites us to take part in the adventure as partners in an open-ended, limitless work overflowing with possibilities.

After listening to canto ostinato at a piano performance by Tomoko Mukaiyama held in Maison Hermes, I searched for various arrangements of canto ostinato on Youtube. I'd like an iterative structure that doesn't matter where it starts and ends.
