メゾンエルメスで田口和奈展。2019年に表参道のvoid+で見たエウリュディケーの眼の展示を拡大した内容で、天気の良い昼間にレンゾ・ピアノのガラスの自然光で見ると、ファウンドフォトがたくさんあってvoid+の小部屋の時とはまた違った印象を受けた。９階のSaint Luke painting the Virginというタイトルのファウンドフォトや８階のエウリュディケーの眼#9のような絵を模写する写真が、画中画が何だか好みなこともあって余計に一際目を引いて見入る。 ちょうど東京国立近代美術館でやっているゲルハルト・リヒター展に合わせて出ていた ユリイカの特集号 でスマートフォンの登場で写真がサイズを取り戻したとの大山顕の文章がそのまま田口和奈の写真の案内にも読めたりしてなるほど。

田口さんの、なにかのモチーフを描いた絵を、さらに写真に撮るというスタイルは、これまで通りなのかな。写真美術館でやっていたグループ展「この世界とわたしのどこか」でも、この"ブルーの青み"が展示してあって、青や赤の彩色がよりこのモノトーンの見えそうで見えないので目を離せない感じ。
